Motifs and Color Palette

Grandmillennial is a home décor collection inspired by the modern consumer, who while looking forward, respects the past. This consumer loves to incorporate traditional décor styles, most notably Chinoiserie interior design into her eclectic home.
Targeted towards the Grandmillennial, those consumers between the ages of 25 and 38, who desire luxurious, timeless home décor, the collection uses clean, bright colors with crisp whites. In order to reinterpret this historical style into a timeless modern day collection, the playful color palette was used with traditional Chinese motifs like cherry blossoms, bamboo, and pagodas. Since this style focuses on a stylized nature and fanciful decoration, a combination of motifs were used to create a whimsical effect.
While this consumer cherishes the past, she’s not afraid to bring the best of modern performance properties into her home. A romantic at heart, the Grandmillennial consumer also seeks products that contribute to the greater good. According to the Cotton Incorporated Lifestyle Monitor™ Survey, more than 77% of consumers say natural fibers are better for the environment. With sustainability and performance in mind, this collection features 100% cotton textiles that are treated with STORM COTTON™ and TOUGH COTTON™ technology to ensure durability and protection from everyday mishaps. The treated cotton products include print, woven, and knit designs shown in a living room setting, but are versatile statement pieces that can be shown around the home.
